coolest digital swing analyzer

Posted by: user447047 | Wed 8th Feb 2012 14:12 | Last Reply

We are going to launch a new golf training tool, mySwing, a suite of sensors that captures the motion of a golf swing and provides real time performance feed back.  mySwing is composed of a Motion Capture Module and wireless receiver. After each swing, the receiver will analyze the swing motion and show you:

- Club Head Speed at the point of ball impact

- Club face angle at the point of impact compared to at the beginning of the swing

- Club shaft angle at the point of impact as compared to the beginning of the swing
- Upswing and Downswing Tempo Times

Details can be found on http://www.noitom.com/products.htm

The motion capture module is incredibly small.  It weighs only 12 grams.  It attaches to the shaft of a club securely using a simple bracket with a expandable rubber belt.

The receiver is very compact as well and easily carried in the pocket.  The display on the is large though and can be clearly seen by the user when place on the ground while swinging the club.  The standard AAA battery will power the display up to 50 hours and the location of the battery serves to hold the display at the proper viewing angle when set down.

mySwing is actually one of the applications of Noitom 's human body motion capture technology. Check out this video  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6ECoy9n3Vs&feature=colike

, which is pretty much self-illustrative.

mySwing  will be in the market early 2012. If you are interested in this product or technology, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected]

Cheers.
