Toss up between Brackley in Bolton or Park hall par 3 course near Stoke. Atrocious the pair of them. Would probably have to say Brackley is the worse of the two.

Best = Woodall Spa

Worst = Ingol near Preston, & Westerwood near Cumbernauld. Both good layouts but awful when wet. Lost numerous balls plugged in the fairways!!

Best = Too numerous to mention, but Open venues just before an Open need some beating.

Worst = At the time but no reflection on the course today - Oakdale GC New holes not watered, so concrete greens with tournament pin positions.

Lewis,

The only problem with Oakdale is that the stream can overflow during heavy rain so causing damage, otherwise it is OK. Starbeck (Harrogate) GC is the best of the three in my eyes but I would be happy to be a member of any of them. (Thats Oakdale, Pannal or Starbeck)

Worst, impossible to say, im always happy when out playing so all efforts to put a track together are appreciated. Ive played a few that I wouldnt relish going back to but i wouldn't dream of running them down on an open forum.  One of my favourites, Chesterton Valley just outside Bridgnorth, sun always seems to shine and I always seem to play well there.

I have not played that many bad tracks as I am selective where I pay my money, but I will join Lewis in his choice of "The Abbey", which I thought was terrible.

Best  would have to be Machrihanish G.C. stunning/scary opening tee shot over Atlantic but most natural & beautiful links course I have had the pleasure to play.Worst played a few dodgy tracks with a disabled golf group around Scotland but will not mention them just in case we visit again.
