Consistency

Posted by: user26342 | Mon 23rd Jan 2012 19:55 | Last Reply

Just returned from spending 2 days at the Celtic Manor. Played the Roman Road & the Monty. Played very consistent scoring 35 & 34 points respectively. I only had 1 blob over the 2 days & didn't lose a single ball. On reflection I should have scored better but what I was pleased about was that the ball striking was the best I've done over 2 consecutive rounds.

Let's hope this continues into the spring?

Nice one John, well played.

I hope your good form and consistency last right up until march 25th !

Good scoring John, especially on a course you're not that familiar with.

Two very good rounds, John, nice to see you finally getting to grips with this game. Always had high hopes for you.

Two fantastic course aren't they! I had the pleasure of playing those two and the Twenty ten last april. Thoroughly enjoyed it, even though i was playing off 20-something at the time. Would love to go again. Some excellent scoring there mate. Perhaps Golfshakers could organise something for a few days down there?

Yep I witnessed it first hand, 2 solid rounds of golf and helped team lefty to a solid 5 & 4 on day 1.  It wasn't quite enough to overcome the bandits on day 2!
