Carden Park is nice, but I would imagine it's a fair old trek from Lancashire. There is Heron's Reach near Blackpool or if you are going to travel it may be easier to get to Mottram Hall wich is my favourite Devere course around Cheshire.

I would wait until spring or summer if your voucher is still valid. It would be nice to play the course in it's best condition. Mottram hall is nearest to manchester, not far from stockport.

I played Mottram about a month ago and it was pretty wet and dull. If you can hang on make the most of it and wait till it is warmer and dry. I have to say though the best one i have played was the Cheshire Course at Carden Park.

Hi, Played on the Cheshire course at Carden Park recently. Really enjoyed the course. Only Downside was the mats on the par 3's ( not a big fan of them ).  18th is a great hole with a view.

Recommend waitin until spring.
