Saw this website advertised in this months golf monthly. Provides access to competitions at other clubs at a fraction of the price of normal green fees. A great chance to play competitive golf at a reasonable price.

It's a cracking website, mainly focused at club golfers as 95% of competitions listed are Open Club Competitions.

And you usually get to play off the comp tees with the course in tip top condition - a better way to see a course at its best.

Not for the faint hearted though as you are teeing it up in a competition at an away club with the home club members

I've been playing in golf empire comps for the last 2 years, sometimes pairs sometimes individual. Great fun playing with friends or strangers.

You will need a congu handicap though !

Yes, club handicaps are a must. Nothing like teeing it up in a competition and putting yourself under pressure.

at my level it's more about playing decent courses at an affordable rate than winning, also less pressure with this mind set

For those that might be interested you will find details of all ofg the various 'Open' competitions played at Kenilworth Golf Club on our website.

It's a great way to play the course at a low price but CONGU handicaps are required.
