Hi Liam,

I use the Nike Power Distance balls, and they have made a massive difference to my game. The ball flight seems truer than previously used balls, and as in the name, I do seem to get that few extra yards with them. Relatively cheap compared to the ProV1's etc, I'd recommend for anyone playing off 13-21. I have tried Wilson true in the past, and I wouldn't use those again.Have been using the Nike PD's for around a year now, and it's no coincidence that my best scores have come in this time. Overall feel and control of the ball is very good. They do loack the spin of the high-end balls though.

At the moment I'm using the Srixon Soft Feel golf ball.

During the summer months I play the Titleist Pro V1 (V1+)

Playing with a golf ball you like is going to put you in a good frame of mind for your round of golf.  Seeing a rubbish golf ball sitting on the tee will put you off your game.

I play with the Titleist DT Solo's at the moment and am getting along quite nicely with them. They've given me alot straighter ball flight especially off the tee and alot more distance. Before was hitting it about 230ish with driver now getting upto 280ish. Also the spin you get in unbelievable but can sometimes be a pain in the bum when you dont want any spin. Plus they're reasonably cheapat £15 for 12.

Also play with the Pro V1x and they're just a better version of the DT Solo and more expensive.

I usually use Srixon Z-STAR.  Good soft feel, good control and go a decent distance too.  In the cold, wet and windy months (I know that's most of them!) of winter I use Titleist NXT as I get a little more distance to make up what I lose in the cold weather and need less spin due to more receptive greens

I buy off e-bay Liam.  I can normally get them for £25 a dozen or less new on there.  I have some of the Tour Yellow too and use them when I am playing as a single and the sky is a little overcast as it's easier to pick them out

During the winter months I play with the Taylormade TP & switch to the Pro V1x in the summer.
