I was asking a few people at my club weather the like stif or flex shaft clubs and the all say stif but can u not get more distance out of flex .

What do golfers on here think and the reason why ?

A person's swingspeed needs to be matched to a particular type of shaft to get the best out of it. Getting the right shaft will also have an effect on the dispersion, which will also affect the distance.

Michael, if you get chance to go on a launch monitor it is fascinating to see how different shafts perform and I don't just mean stiff v's regular.  No two types of shaft are the same - each produces differing launch angles and spin rates.
