My coach has had me practsing these shots, and when you can master them on a demand basis they can really make a difference.

With a draw, i have a strong left hand grip and tend to turn my hands over when connecting with the ball, imagine putting top spin on a tennis ball, same sort of thing, this is one i have used most for getting around trees and the shape of the fair ways ect.

With a fade i a have a looser left hand and also change my swing so i am swinging out to in, this promotes the side spin and for the ball to go left to right.

Somebody will probably be able to explain better or say i am wrong ect but its working for me,

Have a look on you tube, loads of videos.

Cheers

Kyle
