Monty and Past Captain, Parnell take Ryder Cup to Afghanistan

How great that the wonderful game of golf can brighten up the lives of our boys in Afghanistan. Monty's trip to this war torn country was organised by the PGA and took a year to plan. Various companies donated the clubs, balls and equipment. My Pro Parnell Reilly also went to Afghanistan, with Colin Montgomerie and Eddie Bullock, PGA Captain. I know from Parnell that our troops really appreciated this visit. The lessons and photo sessions with the Ryder Cup were a great success both for the soldiers and the many Afghan children who were introduced to this wonderful sport. Well done boys.
