North vs south. EXPLAIN

can anyone explain the north vs south competition to me? as a new member to this site and at the age of 12 i haven't reallly got to grips with it yet.

The North v South match is two teams of something like 40 players a side playing an annual match which has been held for the past two years at the Abbey Golf and Country club hotel in the Midlands. The North seem to have a monopoly on this trophy, but who knows what will happen next year. You would be welcome to put your name down Liam, I am quite sure.

this is an annual event where teams of around forty players each from the north and the south gather together for a ryder cup type of match and we all have great fun

yes the north have won more times than the south but it is a very fiercly contested matchup and alot closer than the south have you believe
