Golf in NE Lincs

Posted by: user252224 | Fri 18th Nov 2011 14:26 | Last Reply

I am going on holiay to NE Lincs in june next year and was wondering if anybody could recommend some good courses to play. Or if any of you are members in that area would mind inviting myself and a friend for a round at your course

ian

i now reside in north lincs, gainsborough to be exact.

gainsborough golf club is very nice although not really a winter course which should be ok for you as you going in june, it has 2 18 hole courses there and is the home of ping europe

there are also many very nice courses within the area, market rasen, ashby decoy, forest pines.

if i am available when you travel up then i might be able to squeeze a game in with you

I would recommend Grimsby GC if your close by, further inland Normandy Hall is a decent track for a municiple.

I have heard only good things about Market Rasen, so worth a try if possible

Played Normandy Hall myself many a time, decent course that is worth a visit.

Never played at Gainsborough yet, but now I know that Martin is up there the next time I'm over in Doncaster I'll have to arrange a game with him!
