New shoes
Im looking for a new pair of shoes as my current pair last week sprung a leak. I have been wading through Ebay there are hundreds to choose from.
1. As I am fairly fiscally astute my buget is £40 max. My last pair were Hitek and done me a good 2 years ( 50 ish rounds ) any one got a recomendation.
2. I have heard that if you go for addidas the go for next size up. I am a 9 and would need a 10. Is this true?

Hi Dave, I recently purchased a pair of FootJoy AQL's from my clubs pro shop. paid £42.00 for them which is only just over your budget. In my opinion they are very comfortable and also sturdy and just what i needed, hope this helps.

I also have a pair of AQLs. Best shoes I've had. Shop well for last year's model and you should find them for £40

Dave,
If you have wide feet then Adidas will come tight (from my experience). They do come in wide fitting though.
I would do your research by visiting some local American Golf/Direct Golf/etc and seeing what they have and trying them on. Then do the same as everyone else and go and find them as cheap as possible on the internet.....

Memory foam padding, I have found them comfortable from the start

Nike TW2011, twice the budget but 10 times better than a £40 shoe. Spend the money "your worth it!" lol!
