New Look Member Profile plus Golfshake Awards

Over the next few hours you will start to see your profile updates to a new look and to include the new Golfshake awards following the recent Birdie Challenge.

Now when you interact on the site via the community functionality or adding a round, dependent on your performance you will be awarded various badges. 

A bit of light hearted fun but will hopefully incentivise you to play a better game.  I know I am now focused on achieving the Hazard Free, awarded after 5 rounds in a row with no penalties!

I'm liking it Darren, and I agree that it will give everyone an aim.  Just a suggestion, make the icon a little smaller on the profile (about half the size).  A little overpowering in my opinion

Minor issue with the initial data load of the birdie streak but any new rounds added will automatically pick up the birdie streak.

You will also now receive email notification when you earn any and later this week you will be able to see a list of available awards which you can use to aim towards

Bringing up an oldest, but is there a list of what the awards actually mean? Some are not obvious from the picture.

Mine also seem to be a bit screwed up as I have one that appears both in the not earned and the earnt sections

If you go to the awards page via:

My Game > Improve > Awards

if you hover over them it should show. I will get this updated though.

yes, lots of tablet updates coming very soon along with some mobile stuff. Keeping me on my toes!

might sound silly question Darren but is it a problem with Golfshake or my Galaxy SIII. When trying to input score evertime I go down to the next box my keypad keeps going back to letters from numbers.

Mark, thanks for info. The score entry was updated earlier this year and tested on iPads and a generic Android tablet - basically so you got the number pad on score entry rather than the keyboard.

I'll test out on a Samsung Galaxy tab I've just got access to.

Finally, further updates are due very soon specific to smart phones and the mobile app is well into development.

Hmmm, just looked again and noticed I didn't get a Birdie Streak award for today
