Was at the range today and over heard the club pro talking to a dad with a 5 year old son who was R11 obsessed.The dad was basically asking about getting him the R11 irons and if they would be suitable and beneficial.
What are your thought is it too young to be spending a fortune on golfing equipment when he might lose interest in the game???

i just bought my 8 year daughter a starter set off ebay and take her to the driving range and let her hit ball to see if she likes it then next summer i will take her on the local golf course, but if you spen daft money on clubs the kids will grow out of them in no time
