SSS
Would someone explain to me the meaning of SSS as opposed to the course PAR
Thanks

Just another silly scheme introduced into this game along with splitting whole shots into 10 parts, thus ensuring that handicaps become a lottery and have no true reflection on ones current abilities.
I expect you realise that without the SSS you would most probably be a scratch golfer now.
Congratulations anyway on achieving the handicap you now have. Well done.

If you are who you say you are, then it is David who has fallen on his face.
I have a machine now that gives me very early warnings of problems with the heart, and I cannot imagine a bit of banter on a forum is likely to upset it.
Thanks for your concern and good luck getting down from 28, Why they ever allowed that kind of handicap, only the stupid boffins in power will know.

It is implanted in my chest and is called an ICD. For those who may be interested this is what it is.

If it is set off big time, because you managed to hole a putt then I will be in serious trouble and the best thing for you would be to walk to the next whole and not even look back. I am quite capable of dying on my own.

David, I wouldn't waste your money on a phone call, you never know, you might need it yourself, but thanks for the thought.

Garry, Not a problem, and I can assure you I do not offend easily, that is why I can put up with smokers and binge drinkers.

Hardly possible to change ones mind under those circumstances, so I would be unable to blame you anyway.
Regarding my equipment, I doubt it is anywhere near the quality of what you already have, but I suppose you could put them on ebay and get your phone money back.

I doubt my car would interest you either, being six years old.
Perhaps you would care to retrieve my wallet from my hip pocket and treat yourself to a beer in the clubhouse. Keep the change.

If you want it that bad, then you will find it, especially as I have never had more than one hip/back pocket. Forget the phone call, it will be too late.
