ive  just returned from a quick 9 holes...and though of this post....

ive been playing golf most of my life and i still get a buzz  from same silly little things....

now i can control my short irons quite well but i still love seeing my prov1 landing taking a bounce and then spinning back 12ft.....as the title says small things for small minds

what a great game golf is....

.... and for the rest of us ..... if only

for me, playing off a 21, I love it when (if) I play perfect regulation golf ie fairway hit, green hit, 2 putts

Dan, I took 41 years to get my first hole in one. And I nearly ended up in traction after doing (virtual) back flips. The ball sits on the mantlepiece and I often get a buzz just looking at it. So good luck on that one.

For me its canning a long putt, especially if it has loads of borrow. As for backspin; its not something I get a lot of on fiery links greens but yes its good to see.

I tend to get a buzz out of actually making the ball do whatever it was I was trying to get it to do.  Whether that be a two foot straight putt or a 220 yard hybrid to the green or a simple chip to within a couple of feet.  Being a higher handicapper there are lots of shots that don't go as planned, so I enjoy the ones that do smileyhttp://www.golfshake.com/scripts/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/regular_smile.gif" title="smiley" />
