Animals scrapings and footprints in the bunkers

Posted by: user217280 | Wed 24th Aug 2011 14:56 | Last Reply

We have a number of Canadian Geese, Ducks and other wild life present at my club, and they do tend sometimes to play in the bunkers, leaving foot prints and scraping's in the sand. My Question is can you get relief from animal scrapings and footprints in bunkers, or is it play it as it lies, I know you can get relief from animal runs on other area's of the course.

Giant bird footprints and goose shit, but I am not having a go at the Geese or the other animals, I understand that they don't work and they are just passing their time dossing around all day and I suppose we should be thankfull they are not looting the pro shop. All I want to know is can I get relief, if not then I will try harder to not go in the bunkers in the first place

Sorry Russell, no relief in a hazard. Animal footprints are frustrating, but landing in a golf shoe shaped footprint is even worse. Annoys the hell out of me

Perhaps you could train the geese and ducks to also dig holes which could be mistaken for rabbit holes.
