Handicap cert to play Cottesmore

Posted by: user418682 | Tue 23rd Aug 2011 21:25 | Last Reply

Hi,

Does anybody know if you need a handicap certificate to play the Pheonix course at Cottesmore Golf Club in Sussex?

It is not mentioned on their site, but I did read it on a review site, I didn't know if it was for the Griffin course or both?

Thanks

Steve

Steve, you dont need a hcap cert for the pheonix.

There are Better courses around for the money although it can be quite cheap.

Better olff playing at Tilgate Forest, a much better course in my opinion and cheaper.

Steve, its not too bad, played there a load of times. Not usually too busy. Quite tight in places so take a few balls. Watch out for the 15th hole, very tricky. bit mundane 10, 11, 12 but overall OK. Should be in ok nick at the mo, greens not to bad. Have a good one.

John, youre dead right, Tilgate is superb but I dont think it would be less than a tenner.
