Net Points

Posted by: user407537 | Thu 18th Aug 2011 08:52 | Last Reply

Hi All,

Please excuse my ignorance. I was wondering what the net points mean on a round. I've seen it coming up on my scores and also a lot of people mentioning it on these forums.

If someone could explain it I would be really grateful.

Thanks

Adrian,Put simply, gross = actual net = corrected for your handicap i.e. net score is your gross (actual) score minus your handicap. So your gross points is what you would have scored playing off scratch and your net points is what you scored playing off your handicap. PS I've removed the duplicate
