Darren Clarke on the BBC.

Posted by: user202037 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Tue 9th Aug 2011 14:52 | Last Reply

Last night the BBC aired a tribute to Darren Clarke.

It was good to see 'the boys' had a solid home life, with family and friends on hand.

Two things made me laugh.

Rory telling Darren that his was bigger, then producing the US Open trophy, and G-Mac looking at Darren with 'hound-dog eyes' when he welcomed him into the clubhouse at Portrush.

What the programme showed was the way these guys respect each other and that they are just normal lads to the locals. Darren is a true gentlemen of golf and I think the programme showed us that.
