Golf Buddies in Ruislip Area?

Posted by: user398345 | Thu 4th Aug 2011 21:49 | Last Reply

I'm often to be found playing Ruislip on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday taking advantage of my 5 day season ticket. As a novice golfer, I've been gaining experience by playing my local course, usually on my own, unless I happen to join up with somebody during the day.

So now that my game isn't too embarrassing for public display, I'd be very happy to have some company if anybody was interested in playing in the area at an agreeable time. My ticket also allows me to play at Haste Hill, Northwood (only played there once so far) or Uxbridge (which I haven't seen at all yet).

Apart from having some company, it would be useful to have another pair of eyes to see where my ball went, on the many occaisons that my head comes up too early and the ball goes way off where I intended!

Used to play at Ruislip many moons ago.

Uxbridge is a nice course (or was back then!).

Hopefully Bob, you'll get somebody on here to join you for a game.

Last I saw of it Uxbridge was being dug up for a gas pipe to be put through.

Have played Haste Hill many times and prefer it to Ruislip, can only really play on weekends though due to work.
