rescue(d) me....

Posted by: user350048 | Thu 4th Aug 2011 15:53 | Last Reply

i was handed a callaway x 4h 24degree rescue club(few years old i think) from my dad the other day after he witnessed me hitting a 4iron fatter than fat. not something i do very often so he found it amusing and said that i needed to move with the times n get a hybrid.

i am a 'long iron' man through and through....well so i thought.

this callaway thing as recentley become the best club in the bag....

long, consistant, accurate, adaptable, and surprisingly it stops the ball pretty quikly.

may it be time to ditch the long irons n invest in a few of these hybrids......mmm....i wonder

They vary between manufacturers. I have 15.5, 18 and 21 which are meant to replace 2, 3 and 4 irons.

Hi Dan. I haven't looked back since dropping my 3 wood, 3 and 4 irons for 3 hybrids. I am more consistant and because I make a better quality strike, I haven't lost distance since the demise of my 3 wood. Go for it! Enjoy...

Hybrids have been discussed plenty of times on here. Its very much an 'each to their own subject' in my opinion.  I've tried several times to play with a 3 iron, but I just cant achieve the same results or shot variation as I do with my hybrid.
