Golf World Records
Whilst bored I thought about possible golf world records and if they could be possible to beat. Having only ever played 36 holes in a day I had no idea what the world record would be. I was guessing that some mad man may have played maybe ten rounds in a day. How wrong was I?? The world record for golf holes played in 24 hours using a cart is 851 holes!! That equates to over 47 18 hole rounds!! Basically 1 round every 30 mins! I know it would have only been a very short, par 3/pitch and putt course but still that is some going.

Ben
I recently played 72 holes (4 seperate courses with no buggy) in a day for charity.
That was tough.
I know of folk who have done 100 in a day (the same course).
Over a pitch and putt with a buggy thats seems about possible, must have been a long day!!

Details
Robb James (Canada) played 851 holes at Victoria Golf Course (9-hole course, 3,002 yd), at Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on 21-22 June 2004.

Can we accept this as a proper record? On his own, with cart?

TheLyth
