Tommy 'Two Gloves' Gainey

Posted by: user20126 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Sun 17th Jul 2011 22:48 | Last Reply

Sat here watching the US PGA golf like you do on a Sunday night.

Watching some coverage of Tommy 'Two Gloves' Gainey.

The first time I saw him was on the 'Big Break' programme on the golf channel.

He didn't win the show, and he certainly didn't have a text book swing, but he's getting some very good results this year.

I remember watching one of the 'Big Break' shows that was for women.

There was an English lady playing who did really well.

She was on a few of the ladies tour events, but I haven't seen her name over the last year.

Shows what a tough life it is to be on tour, and even tougher to stay on tour!

I like the analogy Tony Johnstone uses of "trying to kill a cobra". I think Gainey and Garrigus are two of the most interesting players to watch on the PGA tour at the moment.

Neil, I'm sure you can watch all the shows from the golf channel online.

ugly, ugly swing!! But fair play to him for getting himself up there in competitions!
