Team Stableford

We have a society day soon at which team sof four will play stableford format off 3/4 handicaps. Unfortunately due to drop outs we will also have two teams of three, should their handicap adjustment be 7/8 or full? Thanks for any help.

best 2 from 4? (3balls best 2 from 3)

or is it best 3 scores count

if its best 2 then i would say the 7/8 ths would be the optin but if its best 3 scores count then full handicap should be the option
