stableford better ball

Having trouble understanding this.

What happens in stableford better ball, &
nbsp;I know how the stableford points work in singles 
but what wo
uld happen in pairs.

Think in getting better ball and scramble mixed up.

How would hadicapps work with this?

And if you were putting teams 
together, would you put a good player with a poor player or 
what?

Frances Pendle at VGS has a great idea in that each team of four in a better ball stableford, are made up, so that all teams have the same gross handicap.
