Just to say hello and get some thoughts

hi guys i have just joined and thought i would say hello and get some advise at the same time .
my home club junior organiser is about to hang up his boots (so to say ) and i have been asked if i would like to take over from him, has any one got any experiance on the role that you may like to share with me to give me an outside view of the role
