Scoring Format

Posted by: user333074 | Sun 5th Jun 2011 21:14 | Last Reply

Evening All, ............. We are off in September to our annual golf outing. Spain this year, so Sombreros and flip flops at the ready.

Anyway, I am looking for some suggestions for some different scoring methods. We have used Stableford and standard stroke play in the past, but would like to try something different.

There will be 14 players with a variety of handicaps (12 up to 28 ), over a two round compitition.

We also play a Texas Scramble on the third day as a bit of fun, for those that are still able.

Any suggestions welcome.

Modified Stableford (7/8ths handicap)

Double (blob)  -1

Bogey              1

Par                   2

Birdie               4

Eagle               6

Albatross         8

Even play standard Stableford day one and modified for Day 2

When you look at the above posting in the editor it looks fine, all laid out nice and tabulated, then it pust loads of &nbsp entries in, think the editor needs firing!

Hopefully makes sense!
