Albatross Club

Forget the hole in one club. Any golfer worth his salt will tell you that the holy grail is an albatross, a much rarer bird than an eagle or birdie.

Me, no chance, 5 feet away is about the closest  I have managed in 2 on a par 5 and also 3 feet way for a 1 on a par 4.

I have a feeling this will be a much shorter list than the hole in one club and mucho respect to anyone that can add their name to the list!!!

You no longer have to feel like you're on your own, I'm very pleased to say I managed one yesterday in the Invitation day at Bishop's Stortford. A day to remember, especially as my Dad was organising it and it was his Ruby Wedding anniversary aswell!

Do you take associate members?

2 inches to the right, pin high, on a par 5. I got the eagle... I think that was the summer of 1975, just before I escaped to Uni, drink and women.
