April blues..... again

For the 3rd year running I had a pretty solid winter. Striking the ball well right through the bag, putter not great, but when is it? My club also played full length all winter, so beginning of April and beginning of the season hoe were high for a good start. However this year as with the previous 2, April has arrived and I'm playing like a buffoon.
I seem to follow the same pattern April/May - play awful. Improve throughout June. Peak July/August and be hit n miss September & October.
Is there any explaination to the seasonal peaks and dips in form? Or just something in my head?
