adding to the blog on Golfshake.com
Hi Darren
It may be just me, but I am finding adding to the blog on Golfshake.com is very obtuse.
I can only see two ways of getting to a page which has the "Click here to add to your blog"
The first way is
1. Go to Golfshake home page
2. Select one of MY blog entries in the "Golf Blogs" box mid right
3. This only works if one of MY blog entries is visible in the "Golf Blogs" box. If I select someone elses entry, I see their blog.
The second way is
1. Go to Golfshake home page
2. Click on "See my profile like others see it" from the "Quick Links" box top right
3. Click on "My Golf Blog"
What am I missing?
cheers
John

The 2nd way is the easiest or clicking the 'view my golf profile' in the top right above the navigation.
John, let me know where you would like to see it and I'll update. Should it be a quick link from the members home page ?

Thanks Darren
I always think of "My Profile" as the information about my account which doesn't change much.
How about adding a "My Golf Space" quicklink, pointing to the same place, to the Member's page?
cheers, John

Sorry to hijack your thread but i think its still on topic, why does my latest blog only appear in my society space and is not available for public consumption. Not that i like the sound of my voice but just for future ref.
Cheers
Col

Best thing about this site, is everyone is so eager.
John, your wish is my command, just give me a day or so.
I stopped the society/competition blogs appearing on the main site blog which is the secondary navigation link from the community section and being shown on the links Wayne mentioned. Sometimes they may not be relevant to all to see.
That said, when I'm back on track with support requests the next lot of site updates will allow you to do 2 things; 1, specifiy if it should be in the main site blog 2, an option to promote your blog on the main blog search engines 3, the basics of a user branded profile and blog without the golfshake navigation (i did say 2 but i'm a busy chap and forget what I've done half the time)
