Which clubs should I buy?

Posted by: user363380 | Fri 18th Feb 2011 22:02 | Last Reply

Hi,

This is my first post on this forum and I just want some advice on buying my first set of golf clubs! Since I'm just starting off from new I don't want to spend hundreds and hundreds on a set, so I've got my eye on a few different sets, Wilson X31, Wilson 2010 Full profile, Ben Sayers M7 Ice/Fire, Ben Sayers M9. I do need an inch longer set because I'm a tall fella. Can anyone suggest which would be a good first set or any other make/model you can think of?

Many thanks

Andy

Welcome on board Andy.

Having recently been looking myself I can give one bit of advice.

Jump on your local direct/american golf Website, make a list of all the clubs within your price range and take it into the store. If they want your business (they do) then they will pull out all the clubs on your list and let you have a hit.

Then simply buy the ones that you feel work best for you and the ones you get best results from, regardless of the name on the head.

Hope this helps.

Matt
