Ball Question

Evening all..
Just a quick ball question which im sure someone much wiser than me will be able to answer no sweat.
Just picked up a box of Top Flite balls. The question is this
What do the numbers stand for?
I have 18 balls, 6 no.1's, 6 No.2's and 6 No 3's.
Whats the difference??

Ah ha....I knew it would be a simple one!
I do normally mark mine anyway as well......
I put it on. "Dear Mr Diver, Please return this ball to ..........."
