winter links

Posted by: user355442 | Sat 18th Dec 2010 18:45 | Last Reply

Every winter from October to Christmas we battle the cold and windy elements on our local links to try and win that elusive Turkey in our weekend competitions. We play these over fourteen holes, so there is not much room for mistakes.I must say tho, that I've always found it great fun, although i think its easier to win the British open.We are very fortunate in that our course is a natural links and is a bottomless sand pit,so it is dry all year round. This year however the real winter weather has arrived early.Above is a beautiful photo taken last week from the first tee.(hope it clears soon.there is a recession you know).
