What do you drive?

Posted by: user21122 | Mon 21st May 2007 12:20 | Last Reply

Hi guys,

Slightly off topic maybe, but I'm looking for a new car and can't decide what I want. A big requirement is that it can comfortably hold 2 sets of clubs and trolleys in the boot, possibly with space for a 3rd set as needed.

I figured if you could tell me what you're driving at the moment and what it holds, I might be able to get some ideas!

Cheers.

You won't get it in an Astra.  How about a Transit Van

Can get two sets of clubs attached to trolleys in my Honda Accord, three if I lay the split single seat in the rear down.  My wifes VW golf is a bit narrow to get two sets in, the drivers get stuck in sideways.

I used to know someone who had a special rack on his Honda step-thru moped to carry his clubs....

Got a Peugeot 307 LX.  Can only fit 2 bags in the boot with one trolley at a push

Was on the verge of buying an Audi A6 after I got promoted at work.

Then.....even better news, the mrs is pregnant.  Audi A6 has been shelved for probably the next 18 years.

Daewoo Matiz nicely fits 1 bag.  Alright the driver and 3 wood do need to sit on the back seat.
