Exactly the same way, but I would have been swinging the club as he was running towards me a well! Ha ha!I was warned on a course near Darlington not to leave my bag out of my sight, and to expect my ball to be missing if I landed on the green on a short par three, as kids were known to steal them as you were making your way to them.Sure enough, I could see them waiting in the trees! I was all ready to chase them down as well ... but they didn't try anything! Pfffft!

Would that be Stressholme your referring to John?? I'm a member there, not seen anything myself, but heard a couple of stories of that nature
