At what point should the hands cross over during the down swing

Posted by: user353969 | Sat 20th Nov 2010 00:16 | Last Reply

I've been working on improving my swing for the last couple of year and I'm really starting to get somewhere with it. The one things that I'm working on at the moment is getting my hands to cross over earlier after impact - by cross over I mean the point where the back of my right hand faces away from my body. I'm doing this because I didn't use to cross over until I was almost in the last part of my follow through, which gave me a weak shot that was inconsistent.

Am I doing the right thing working on this at what point is the optimum moment to allow the hands to cross over?

Or am I and idiot that's barking up the wrong tree?

Not an expert here but I would imagine that your hands need to rerturn to address position at impact to ensure the clubface is square.

I would imgine this to be the optimum time for the hands to cross.
