What do you think of the new Pro-Am format ?

Golfbreaks.com recently launched a new four day Pro-Am Series for 2011 with five events taking place over the winter at Spanish and Portugese resorts.
The new four day/three round format offers an alternative to the traditional seven day Pro–Am event and takes place over Thursday to Sunday, better suited to today’s busy PGA Pro and amateur golfers.
What do you think of this new format ? and anyone played in a Pro-Am before ?
