Ryder Cup day 2 - what are you thoughts?

Posted by: user8 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Sat 2nd Oct 2010 08:58 | Last Reply

Clear day ahead, new format, all players out in foursomes, Saturday is looking good!

Players looked pumped this morning.

Come on Team Europe.

Everyone can give an opinion after the event. What if Harrington had reproduced the TEN Birdies he had on Wednesday?

I was surprised at Rory on 18. On his limit, Cink in the drink, and he goes for it instead of laying up and giving us two chances to make a 4.

One point down with things not happening is not a bad position to be in.

The American team are playing well.

Ever since the rain break yesterday the Eurpoeans haven't really produced the goods.

We only seem to produce a good putt when we need to halve a hole, and seem to miss the ones we need to win a hole.

There is still a long way to go but getting in with a lead after the first four games is always a good boost to the team's confidence.

NOTE - I'm still watching what I taped this morning, so I'm probably on around 9am at the moment.  The USA are up in three games and we are up in the other.   Best way to watch the golf, same as football.  Skip through all the waffle and the adverts!

Not to happy hearing the cheers when the American hit a bad shot!

All you have to do is not clap, the silence will be deafening.

That is part of the Ryder Cup, not only play decent Golf, keep the opposition crowd quiet.

The Ryder Cup set up means things change very quick. You can look at the Scoreboard and see a lot of Blue with +1, look again a couple of minutes later and there is none. We are at last seeing Blue and +2, +3 or +4 now.
