Ryder Cup Day 1 - What are you thoughts ?

Looks a bit wet, will they make the day out!

Already fear that a load of us will miss the end, as with the weather like it is there's already a very good chance that it will now be on Monday whilst stuck back at desk at work

I wouldn't mind it going to Monday.  I booked today off to watch it but will be missing Sundays golf as going to Chelsea v Arsenal.  Luckily I also have Monday booked off too so will be happy spending the day watching the end of Europe's win.

Hi guys, im stuck in work and would appreciate a quick update on our lads.  Had a small wager on Poults as leading european points winner. How we doing ?

You can blame the Americans for this event being played so late in the year. 

Apparently they decided to have the Fed-Ex cup in September so this meant the Ryder Cup was knocked back in the schedule.

The United Kingdom in October is not the place to be playing a major golfing event!

Watching the days play it was a shame that the play was stopped as we got off to a good start, but after the break we didn't seem to be with it.

Always important to get off to a good start.
