Played in a society day yesterday

Hit an 85 gained 40 points had my HCP cut by 1 so was well chuffed.

However, came up to the twelfth, par 3. Its an Island green and my card was good up until then. So i'm thinking, just hit the green. Took a PW and hit my shot to within 3 foot of the pin. Was so pleased as on previous visits I have hit numerous amount of balls into the water.

Two partners went into the water and another around 15 - 20 foot from the pin. Then my world crumbled around me!!! birdie putt, a foot past the pin. Par putt, lip of the hole. I ended up with a flipping bogie. I then preceeded to throw a tantrum Tiger style.

This game can be so cruel sometimes.

It's a stupid game really!

Oooh, that's never happened to me.  Well hardly ever.  Maybe once or twice in the last round.

I think that was Waynes score alps. Andy was congratulating him on a great score.

I'll bask in the glory anyhow !!!  It will be a long time before I shot an 83 I can tell you !!!! LOL
