Some pics from the Senior Masters at Woburn

Posted by: user319949 | Sun 5th Sep 2010 18:59 | Last Reply

Went to my first professional golf event today. Like any keen beginner I broke the rules unknowingly and took some snaps. Thought  someone would like to take a look at the few I managed before getting told off.

I'm the porky one who plays off an equally large handicap.

Yes, Dave, a nice shot of George Ryall, now on the Seniors tour. I obviously taught him well enough. I was speaking with him and John Morgan down at Barry Reeves retirement party a couple of months ago and he still uses regular shafts and he still has the original set that I gave him, my old Spalding Executive blades, although he does not use them now of course.

Great photos Martin,

I was marshalling and you weren't alone in nabbing a few "unauthorised" snaps!

In truth, with quiet digital cameras, and no flashes, there's no harm done, a case of common sense applying.

I'd be keen to see any other photos anyone else may have as I didn't get to see too much apart from the bits I was detailed to look after!
