Manual starting handicap

Hi,
I have just signed up to this superb looking site. I have been using an alternative web based handicap tracker and wanted to enter my current handicap as a starting point. I did so but then realised it have recently increased by 1. I tried to enter another manual handicap but it still states my handicap is the original lower figure.
