When playing alongside people who you haven't played with before, does anyone have a sneaky look at what the other players have got in their bags? (clubs, that is)
I usually do & it leads me to the conclusion that some of them Ping irons are right ugly looking things!

I've no doubt they are good quality tools, but some of them look more like shovels than golf clubs.
