Recalculate handicap

Posted by: user41897 | Sat 14th Aug 2010 08:12 | Last Reply

A couple of friends have jsut signed up to GS and added some rounds but not in the right date order.  Starting handicap calculated after 3 rounds okay.

I suggested they use recalculate handicap tool with date before all cards to get correct handicap but still not showing a correct handicap now. Do they need to manually set handicap back to 28 before first card?

Member is Alan Sowden and Andrew Chainey if you want to see what I mean.

Adivce welcomed.

Nope, just untick the box and do recalculate handicap.

The initial golf handicap will the be calculated on the average of the oldest 3 rounds.  Then adjustments made on a per rounds basis from round 4 onwards.

Obviously if they had a club or society handicap then they point that in as a starting point if not we base on the first 3.

Regards, Darren.
