Cracking courses in Dorset

Posted by: user252224 | Thu 5th Aug 2010 00:57 | Last Reply

I was lucky enough to play on 3 seperate courses in Dorset this weekend. The 1st was Weymouth GC which was in great condition seeing as there has been no rain for ages. The 2nd course was Bridport GC which has stunning views and the best hole i have ever played, the par 3 6th which is played from the top of cliff into the valley about 150ft below. The 3rd was East Dorset GC where the greens were in fantastic condition although the fairways were in quite a sorry state due to the lack of water, the same could be said of Bridport as well (this being said will not deter me from playing them again at the earliest oppotunity except i live in kent) I would like to congratulate these clubs on their fantastic courses. I just wish my game was good enough to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings and not give me the hump coz after shooting an 80 last week i reverted to 2 rounds over 100
