Seniors Ryder Cup?

Last week Corey Pavin called for a Ryder Cuo stle event for the Seniors Tour?!
What do you reckon? Would it be good or is there too many of these teams events across the tours already?

It would be a good idea.
It is strange that as a good Amateur you get to play a lot of Team Match-Plays, then when they turn Pro hardly any.
