hi can any one explain why when i use my own clubs (all woods) i duff a lot of shots but when i use my wifes (ladies flex) i can out drive most of the people i play with and my putting is much better (always the pitching lets me down. but getting better)and all the shots go striaghter. much. and what is the difference between ladies and senior flex? paul

Ladies flex is softer than a regular and senior is softer again. 

You will always hit a softer flex club further, as long as your timing is right.  The 'whip' generated in the softer shaft means that more headspeed is generated, increasing the smash factor.  The difficulty is timing the swing so the whip happens at the right point in the swing
