Regrooving clubs?

Posted by: user318188 | Thu 15th Jul 2010 15:29 | Last Reply

I have only been playing since the start of the summer and bought some clubs 2nd hand to get me started I had intended on upgrading at the end of the summer but quite like the irons I have they need re-gripping which I'm going to do myself also on the 7iron upwards they have a few chips and are quite worn is it worth having them regrooved? Is this a job for a pro as I've seen some regrooving tools for sale on the tinternet but have no idea how good these are. Has anyone had there clubs done and sid you notice a difference?

Thanks

Baz

Just bought one of your groove sharpeners Robert.  I'll be giving it it's first outing tomorrow

check if you've got square or v grooves 1st as I believe a different method is needed for either one.

I recently got one and they are easier to use than my professional one go figure. I highly recommed one.
