must be time of year syndrome. Ive gone from feeling confident over the ball to hoping it goes where i want. It doesnt help playing on slooooooooooooooow courses where you cant get into a rythm (my excuse please find another) Im gonna go 3 times over the weekend and if i get no better the clubs are goin in the drink. Or im gonna hit the drink !!!!!

When I first started playing I was told I would improve to a certain point then go back over before coming forward again - how very true...

Trevor, when that happens to me I go back to the very basics "GAPS" - grip alignment posture stance.

Played on Monday. Although I scored poorly, I was happy with the way I was stricking the ball. Hitting lots of fairways, but the greens were like rock and kept rolling of the back, then my short game comes into play, and thats where I struggle. Saying that, I did get up and down for par twice.

Its my dreaded short game. I have the long game of a much better player than I am, my puttings not bad, not great but not bad. But 20 yards in I play like a moron. On the range I do it no problem. But 10 yards out, in the fluffy rough, with a mound to go over, and it all goes to peices.

17th at pedham place

That drive went ok. 260 yds into a strong wind, right side of the fairway.

PS. Sorry for looking so scruffy Wayne. It was the 17th mind.
